FAQs for Teletherapy Services
-
Teletherapy for speech therapy in schools has proven effective in providing remote support to students, especially in areas with limited access to local therapists. According to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), telepractice in speech therapy delivers comparable outcomes to in-person services, supporting students with speech and language needs (ASHA, 2020). This approach offers flexibility, allowing students to receive therapy without disrupting their school schedules (ASHA, 2021). It also enhances access for students in rural or underserved areas, ensuring that they receive necessary therapy without the challenges of transportation or long wait times. Teletherapy is a cost-effective solution for addressing speech therapy needs in schools.

You’re all set for success! Our therapists will handle all the planning, so there’s nothing for you to worry about. The school doesn’t need to provide any therapy materials—just show up and you’re good to go! In some cases, a tech helper at the school may be needed, but other than that, everything is set for a smooth and successful experience!
